Morophine wouldn't give you a positive hcg test. That's a different category. I wouldn't worry. When you have your baby if the baby is positive then they might question.

Its a scary thought but im sure you are fine just ask for a re take , my husband smokes but I'm never around him and I still worry I'll test positive even tho I haven't smoked for a long time. but OBG said everything was fine and not to worry

@jamie_and_donovan, thats just my fear that theyll take her away the doctor never said it but ive seen so many cases like that...ive seen so many girls that smoke and they still have their kids ima call the doctor tomorrow and talk to him

they will drug test you and the baby when u deliver
Ask for a retest immediately. Have you been around someone that smoked?

yeah I know people who smoke their entire pregnancy and it is fine. and the doctors who had a problem with it did a drug test on the babies first stool when it was born. so even if it is a process for you, if you don't smoke, they will not take your baby. they're going to look into it. but you are going to fine.

I don't understand how they will take your baby if you had a false positive. they'll test the baby when it's born and if she or he tests positive I'm not sure what they'll do . I told my OBG I smoked in my first trimester Because i didn't know I was pregnant and also I was in so much pain from my wisdom teeth smoking was the only thing that helped and my OBG said it was fine
I dont understand how circumcision, breastfeeding, and molding your babys head fresh out the womb became such a big deal all of a sudden so many wrongs and people against it, havent seen the problem back then with my other three pregnancy's smh this generation gets on my nerves 😒

false positive happens. probably caused by nothing. a few years ago my friend was like 4 months pregnant with her 3 child. married. slept with one man her entire life and they called her in and told her she was positive for HIV. it was so scary. A week later they told her it said a false positive and false positives happen for no reason.
