Need to scream or cry so thought id rant on here instead! Sorry in advance! My mum is normally my number 1 fan, but she is nice to my face then slags off my pregnancy behind my back to her friends and told a particular male friend of her who i definitely dislike, i was finding out the gender today but hoped it was a boy as they are easier to which he responded by saying 'well yeah as she will have you looking after it'. I may not be in an ideal situation, i split with my partner as HE became violent, i may be 'only 21', but i have independently gone looking to move out before baby is born and have NEVER ONCE said i expect my mother to do ANYTHING for my child, i do not expect her to bring up my child but i also do not expect her to speak bad and judge my parenting before she is even here! Gutted, hurt and angry!

you will be able to manage just fine on your own don't listen to what anyone had to say if all they can say is negative stuff. I'm 23 and having a baby on my own with literally no one around dad won't be involved I have nothing to my name an looking to move back to England just me and baby I'm scared to the moon and back but won't change having this baby for anything xx @terri995

It was a hard decision to keep this baby when i know im living at home and the dad wont be involved but she seemed so excited and now knowing its clearly all a show makes me worried about when she arrives. How can i cope with a newborn alone with zero support 😭

I have told her twice as she had the same male round one night and i told her something private and she went straight and told him, then she accidentally rang me once whilst slagging me off. Just hurts that my parenting is being judged before she is even here. Mum always told me that if i struggle i just need to ask for help and it will all be ok, im terrified of being a single mother but knowing she is literally expecting me to fail makes me think i cant turn to her and i will struggle alone. Thank you x
