at what age did you mama's start giving your babies juice? I am asking because if my son (2 1/2 years) leaves his sippy around and my daughter (9 months) gets it she chews on it. I was just wondering if I could give her her own cup or bottle with some juice? it wouldn't be a lot obviously. I'm also hoping that if I start that, she will start taking the cup or bottle with breastmilk in it lol
I will keep that in mind @caseysmommy92 I haven't tried it. as we were at my dad's in the pool and she fell asleep lol hopefully tonigbt
I just bought some lol, I'm gonna put a few ounces in a cup and she can sip at her leisure lol @caseysmommy92
awesome @caseysmommy92 I mite have to get my daughter some... isn't it only like 2 ounces they can have at that age?
I still dilute my 2yo juice lol but I try to find the lowest sugar also just because of cavities and all that. I started juice around 7mo. Pedialyte actually says on the bottle that it is only for babies when they are sick, so I would be cautious about that.
@sarahdrew, they make all different flavors and my daughter loves it. The Er gave her some when I took her in and I asked if she could drink it as regular juice and they said that was fine. It is like $6 something a bottle though.
thanks mama @izamarpink did you dilute the Gerber juice? my son won't drink water so you are lucky lol but when it's hot like it has been here I dilute with more water than juice (I have to dilute his still because if he has straight juice, and has a BM it makes his butt raw. I had the same issue my mom told me)
I will for sure
