My baby has thrush and is currently being treated with nystatin. The dr told me to treat my nipples with clotrimazole. I put some on right before I went to bed last night. I just pumped 3oz (which is a lot for me) but forgot to clean my nipples off first. I'm pretty sure it was all rubbed off because I sleep without a shirt. I'm just worried about giving my son the milk because I don't know if they were completely clean. On the other hand I don't want to waste that precious liquid gold. Should I dump it or will it be safe to feed him?

you don't have to dump. you can use it for a milk bath:)

when you bathe your baby put the milk in with the water. it's great for any blemishes, baby acne, moisturizer, and plenty other stuff for your baby.

you're welcome. you can do it with milk you forget to put up or freeze or if it was left out too long or if it's expired. breast milk baths have a ton of benefits for babies.
