Oh good, I read a story about a mom who tested positive right after she gave birth and everyone looked and treated her differently because of it. So terrible 😖 it wasn't until they retested it that thy believed her that she wasn't ever on drugs. So horrible how we have to think the worst all the time. Hope they get it figured out soon!

If CPS does get involved they just make sure you have everything you need for your baby. If you can prove youre a good mother especially before leaving the hospital then you have no need to worry. I have friends who smoked their whole pregnancy and had a real positive and all they did was prove they are responsible enough for a child.

@alexislopez, what i find so weird is all of my urine tests ive taken there were good nothing was wrong why now? i just hope they didnt switch the test with another person ..maybe they got confused .. cause there was some new girls .. plus when i got submitted to the hospital on wednesday the tests they did on me were fine @alexislopez

I was in labor when they found out, there was absolutely no way they were going to take him from me, we all knew it was a false. They threatened me with it but I had a night nurse that actually believed me and made them retest me and test my son to prove it. They have never checked up on us

you're not going to get your child taken away. what did they say to you after they got the results.

I tested false positive for opiates and they tried to get a social worker involved but they tested my son's urine and he came back negative so all was fine
