So I can't help but notice a lot of people are going off of different charts on the weeks vs months. I have a four year old who is almost five. When I was pregnant with her the only chart used was 4 weeks=1month, 8 weeks=2months, 12 weeks=3 months, 16=4months, etc. I know that healthcare changes! So my question is for mommies with children already! When then this change come about with all these different charts????

this is my first but I was so confused when I was 6 months like what week do it start people was telling me different stories that was incorrect until I asked my doctor and they told me month 6 is 24-27 & my book said the same thing and the app that I downloaded also

I go by the 10 month rule, always have. Idk every one is different.

Yes my dr said the same as well last pregnancy but I keep forgetting to ask the new dr that I see now has it changed since so many different charts @itsaboy114

no its still the same Lol even the Internet says it too @92angel .I don't listen to everyone because they wrong .it make sense tho because three trimesters and it's divided into three and each month has four weeks .

Ok I don't want you to think I'm getting cocky because I'm not, I'm just seeking clarity. Did all your Drs or your children go by this chart or you just went by this on my own because if so seems like the healthcare professionals is the ones making this confusing because my dr never went by this?? And maybe it's the Drs that's telling people different stuff. @desiraeriley

My doctors have always been different but after the first two I just quit asking because back then there were no charts or FB or mom sites. I though it was fairly interesting though this time when I first seen this chart the way it was set up because it was just exactly as my doctor had explained it all those years ago. I myself find it strange because according to the chart there are more weeks in the last trimester than in the first two but I think it's because your baby does most of its growing at that time. IDK I'M not a doctor.lol

you don't go by the calander tho @mrs.catlin you go by the pregnancy calendar weeks .because if you follow the calendar it won't be in order it goes by the day you conceived and up .you don't go through your whole 9 month tbh
