Soooo I got my nipples pierced around 3 years ago. I really want to breast feed and have been debating if I should take them out or not. I understand I can not breast feed with them in so please no one tell me about the choking hazards of jump down my throat about this. But I just wasn't sure if I should take them out until I have my baby girl. I was worried about scar tissue developing and causing problems. Idk I was also very attached to the piercing for some odd reason. It's like it's the last wild side of me that I have left. Lol! Well any way I took them out the other night. I cried a little. Felt like I said good by to a younger part of myself.

Dont worry the bond breastfeeding gives you is mucb more rewarding 💗 once you're there you wont even care no more 😄

I don't think scar tissue will be an issue since you took them out the other day. You can always ask your doctor what usually happens because I don't know anyone who had their nipples pierced that breastfed lol

I'm old, 39! I had my nipple pierced when I was in my early 20's and have successfully breast fed 3 babies. 4 soon. The only problem I have is that milk comes out in 3 spots now. I haven't had the ring back in, in at least 15 + years. You will be just fine. The only negative I have ever thought was milk comes out faster on the boob I had pierced.

After 3 years you should be ok. Also even if they do close scar tissue may not form. stay positive :)

and I also had mine done but I only kept them for like a year, the holes did close but I don't have any scar tissue so hopefully you won't have any issues! good luck!
