really considering switching to a midwife i want a natural birth. My doc is really sweet i just can't help but feel uneducated. about my pregnancy my appointments are rushed and i don't think she is really listening like after we figured out its a boy she asked me what we were having. i feel like another number. which i understand she has ger hands full but i want. someone personal and will understand my needs when comes time to deliever. i think she's sweet but just getting through appt.

Every doctor is like that unfortunately. The appointments are in and out and if you don't ask questions majority of the time you won't know 😩

mines the exact same way. I always have a list of things to ask and concerns. I have media problems so right off the bat I asked millions of questions. I'd probly go to one of these other places if I didn't have medical issues

i guess they're all like that i just hear women talk about there natural birth and how informed they were how they got there bodies ready and everything @geekymomma13,

yeah I know. it could be they have had kids before or just a really good midwife. if I were you I would read up on it, do some research and get an idea what to expect and what to do to help make a natural birth easier. @woahmama

The doctor's actually aren't told about the gender unless their patient tells them. To their credit, they do see a lot of women all day every day. Birthing centers I hear good and bad things. I guess it just depends on you and your preferences.
