I know this is going to sound dumb but I have to ask and get opinions anyway 🙃
Like I've mentioned before my husband is in the military. Friday they're having some type of "bring your family" day. I can't remember exactly what it's all for but anyway, everyone does a 3 mile walk. Me and Phoenix are going to go. Now, I'm not exactly what you'd call "physically fit" and I never have been. Once I get those cramps in my side I'm down and OUT. Game over 😂 My husband said he was taking Phoenix regardless so I'm not about to sit my butt at home alone when I can just tag along. 3 miles isn't really all that crazy. For someone like me who doesn't walk or exercise it kind of is. I know staying active like walking and all that helps when it comes time for baby to make their appearance. I'm not going to get all paranoid and be like "oh if I walk these 3 miles I'm going to go into immediate labor afterwards". I walked twice a day, every day from 34 weeks to 39 weeks my first pregnancy and it did nothing. I was induced the night before I was 40 weeks. I should be walking anyways because it's good for me. I just want to know everyone's opinion. I'm 37 weeks and 4 days as of today (1:35am where I am), how smart is it really for me to go and walk that much when I haven't really stayed active? I know to pace myself, keep water on me, dress for the weather and all that. I just don't want to get out there and do like almost 2 miles then have to turn back around because I hurt my damn self 😅
im sure everyone will be spreaded out...and alot will stay behind and thats ok. just take your time. might just help to get yoi started. make sure you have water ...and napkins...lol incase you need to get out of formation and pee somewhere
I walked 10miles @ 37+6 (July 4th) and then started having contractions on July 5th.. It made my body really sore but i stayed hydrated and rested when I needed too...
I would totally do it if I were you!
