has anyone had their membrane stripped if so did it help u go into labor? And does it hurt I've heard it does and doesn't.. I want to ask my Dr to do one tomorrow at my appointment cause I really don't wanna be induced so I hoping that will make me dilate more I'm already a 3.

I agree uncomfortable but doesn't hurt. I got my membranes swept when I was 38 weeks exactly I was at 3cm and 75% effaced. I did have minor cramps and spotting. I walked bounced on my ball right away. I went into labor 2 days later and had my daughter at 38w4d I don't know if it necessarily made my labor start but it could have been a big help.
@ms.dreaya, were u dilated any when u got urs? I just don't wanna be induced I wanna go natural and she's Playin games lol if I can dilate to a 4 I'm good cause they'll admit me I'm a 3 as far as I know so I don't have much to go i jus need a little push
it's uncomfortable but doesn't hurt and I got mine done Monday at 39wks in still nothing. really sucks. his due date next Monday in my cervix not doing nothing and I don't want no pain meds but I know I'm going to have to get them to jump start something.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
In my opinion it hurt and was super uncomfortable but I have a very low pain tolerance. I was swept in the morning around 10-11ish at 39W5D and I was barley 2cms. Then My water broke that night/morning 11-12.
