Only my husband would basically call in "sick" for no reason even though he knows how close I am to having our child. He just started working less then a month ago and has called in sick for a week straight. I've worked my whole pregnancy with morning sickness and everything else without calling out once. I'm praying she stays in long enough for me to get a car so she will be able to go to work with me because I get 1 week maternity leave thanks to my coworker donating 40 paid hours to me. He's the last person I would trust my newborn with after all this. All I want is a happy healthy little girl at this point and if that means working harder then thats all I can do.

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.

ekko I see both sides. However, if you both work and him taking off one day isn’t going
2sweetie I’ve never asked my husband to take a day off when I’m sick. I just deal with
boymama523 He gets the choice to call off if he’s overwhelmed or sick. You (all us mommas) don’t.
