why couldn't you drink the drink ?

my doctor said eat protein that morning then wait 2 hours to come in and since i cant drink that drink i have to eat 28 jelly beans.

My doctor told me not to eat past 12. I got there and they immediately took me back to pick which drink I wanted. I chose fruit punch and it was really good to me. Lol. It's best to chug it. You have a few minutes to do it. Then you go wait for an hour and they check your blood (some get their blood drawn but my doctor pricked my finger). They told me that day that I passed but some doctors make you wait a few days for results. It goes by really quick. I played on my phone during the wait.

I had to take the 3 hour and it's definitely not fun. I choose the orange over fruit punch and it tasted like flat crush to me. I don't think the test is as horrible as everyone makes it seem, but it affects everyone differently of course. Good luck!

Oh gosh Lol dang it ! when I don't eat I get very nauseous

honestly..I didnt eat after dinner. drank a lot of water that morning, drank the drink (I chose fruit punch) waited, then they called me back for a regular visit..then exactly an hour from when I drank it, they took my blood. take a snack with you so you can eat as soon as you're done! I passed. I'd be pissed if I had to do a 3hour test lol

@itsaboy114, then you can eat.. They just suggest eggs or something like that, again high protein no sugar. If for some reason you fail that one you will have to go back for a 3 hour test and that's the one you must fast for

If it's the first just 1 time test you CAN eat, they just suggest high protein and no sugars!! If it's the 3 hours test then you have to fast from midnight til it's done!

I wake up to pee and then have to eat at like 6am in the morning .

You can't eat until after all your blood draws are done.
