hmm I think my second child's birth was pretty interesting... I was already 41 weeks and had a check up with the doctor that was inducing me (Mine was at a convention that week) while my husband was at work I began to get ready for my appointment. While showering I felt like I was peeing (sorry tmi ) and didn't think of it. while out of the shower is noticed I was still leaking even after drying off. My husband got home and I told him I thought my water broke I sat on the toilet for a moment and sure enough it had. We were off to the hospital and after 12 hours and only 30 minutes of pushing our little girl had arrived. hope my story makes you smile Momma😊

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?

No judgements pls, but I am absolutely petrified of giving birth (and also extremely squeamish). My whole life I always said when I got pregnant, I would have a c-section. Well, now that it's almost time, I have no idea what to do 😭 I would really love to talk to mamas who've had a Cesarean by choice.. I don't have anyone in "real life" to talk to about this at all and it's really getting to me. (*ALSO* I have a pretty large dermoid cyst on my ovary that they want to remove during a c-section if I have one. If I have a vaginal birth, I may end up needing abdominal surgery a few months later anyways..)
