hey mommies so I had my baby boy on Friday and I got an epidural. the day after I delivered I started getting really bad headaches and began to get really light headed. the pain is really bad I can barely stand up or stay sitting up. I was prescribed 600mg ibuprofen but doesn't seem to be working. any recommendations.

It's called an epidural headaches mine were bad after I had my son couldn't lift my head at all as well as throwing up really bad I ended up going to the hospital

It's from spinal fluid leaking out through the needle hole from your epidural. For the blood patch they just take a little bit of your own blood and inject it there. It'll clot and seal the hole. Sounds icky but it really works!
