Random question! (: So if my water were to break in the middle of the night... Would I have to rush to the hospital…

As long as you aren't in pain do what you want I wouldn't take hours to do all that but I'd take a shower and do hair and make up if the time is realistic.

I say you take a shower before your water breaks even though it defeats the purpose of being clean lol contractions come very strong once that happens so you might leave the house with half straightened hair lol

I really like this question! I surely wasn't cute during my first labor. Nobody reminded me I still had a washcloth on top of my head so for all our first pix I'm rocking it 😂

I think you can if you're not having contractions ; my water broke at 2:45 am & I went straight to the hospital but didn't have contractions until like 12 pm. Everyone's different tho 🤔

I never got a chance to look fly for my son lol!!! My water didn't break until 5 am but I went to the hospital because my contraction was so bad and unbearable

showering is fine it's no baths

my water broke on its own while I was in bed both times with my 2 kids and I had time to shower and get our bags packed and out the door the second time I even had time to drop our daughter off at my mom's house I think it was probably because my water broke but I didn't start contracting until I actually got to the hospital I'm sure if I had contractions right away I wouldn't have been able to do any of that

My cousins water broke and she showered and got ready for the hospital. She wasn't having contractions yet

I don't think you're supposed to shower after your water breaks.

lol contractions will follow either immediately or later on. it's best you get to the hospital if your water breaks! who cares about what you look like !! the baby will be the star hun @optimusviolet
