Has anyone attempted to check their own cervix for dialation? Mom keeps asking me to check myself because my midwives won't.

as long as your hands are fully clean I've read and been told it's fine. some moms don't do it only Cuz they not sure what to look for.

I have an appt to check my baby's growth and check my cervix today. I'm at risk for preterm labor and was wondering when they check my cervix through ultrasound if they can see if I'm dilated or anything like that?
