I'm 40+1 day and today I've felt baby moving but I think he's been a lot quieter than usual, is this a sign of labour? Or should I be ringing my maternity assessment unit? Just need some advice as I'm by myself with my 2 year old so don't want to make any unnecessary trips to hospital if I don't need too. Thanks x

I've tried drinking some cold and fizzy and it didn't make much difference and I can't lie down right now cos of my 2 year old but I'm going to try some Coca Cola soon hopefully that'll shift him @kirsty89 x
Or drink something cold and lie on your left side & see if you get more movement X @mrshamiltonxo
My midwifes on holiday so I'd have to ring my maternity assessment unit and I know they'll say come in and it's just such a stress but thank you, I'll call them X @kirsty89
movements shouldn't slow or reduce as a sign of labour hun, I'd ring MW just to be safe X
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?

Does the doctor need consent from both parents to do a circumcision or just one? I don't want my boyfriend and his mother to try and do this behind my back while I'm all groggy
The night my waters broke Max barely moved at all. I woke up & worried & I never worry. I also have a 2yr old so didn't want to make a midnight trip! I went had a drink, laid on my side, walked about. Tried prodding him. Nothing. Was about to ring then my waters broke! Give it an hour or 2 & if still nothing give them a ring. They may just be sleeping but always ring if unsure @mrshamiltonxo
