Is it normal to be dilating this soon?? I had my doctors appt yesterday and im already 2cm dilated

I was shocked...lol obviously there is SOOOOOO much that i dont know about pregnancy/labor/delivery

yes, normal. you could be stuck there for weeks

Had my cervix checked (at hospital) on Sunday 1cm dilated.... go today my doc says I’m not dilated at all . Ummmmmmmmm 🤷🏾♀️

How do you know if you are dilated? Does your water have to break so you can be dilated? I'm 38 weeks and I still don't feel labor stuff lol

lizbeth9000 Girl i was checked 4 days before my due date and was not dilated at all lol.

Contraction questions
I had a membrane sweep today. Before the sweep I was 3-4 dilated & 75% effaced.

Yup! With my son I don't think I dilated any at all until I gave birth. But with my daughter I was dilated to a 1 around 30 weeks and 2 cm around 35 weeks.
