So I bought dermaplast, tucks pads, maxi overnight pads and hi cut/brief panties. Do I need anything else to make PP a lil more comfortable???
@dcb012, OK I'll go look tomorrow at Walmart cause I'm hearing it's good to... I already bought the huge always overnight hopefully I can find the receipt and return it
I changed it every time I went to the bathroom.... Especially for the first 24 hours after baby. And I'm not sure. I just got a generic brand
@dcb012, so just change it once a day or whenever you shower? and do they have different absorbency?
It's very worth it @jujukiss you don't have to worry about the pad shifting, or sleeping on your back and it leaking off there, or getting up in front of company and having a blood spot, or when baby wakes up in the middle of the night you're not worried the pad is too full and make the hungry newborn wait while you change your pad.
@dcb012, I'm definitely going to look into that cause I'm trying to be as comfortable as possible
Yes!!! Love having depends for the first couple days and for sleep time!!! Was the best/craziest advice I had ever had
@joleen23, OMG!!! I'm so ordering this is hope it comes in time...I'm due next week
Nope, no need! If you are paranoid like i was, you can put one underneath. The only thing I put on top of them was the tucks wipes. It felt amazing!!
@joleen23, do you put the pad on top of these or do you even use a pad cause I see it says absorbent
I ordered medline instant cold packs and while they're not necessary for everyone they were a DREAM for me! (I ended up having stitches) I had everything you have with the exception of depends instead of underwear. Sounds like you're all set and ready to go, mama
They should supply you with all of that. And you can ask for extra to take home. Get some good pain relievers other than what they'll prescribe you with. You'll still get small contractions after you give birth and they don't give you much medication
@mmam91, wow I would have never thought about that I'll add that to the list thank you
I spray bottle. after you give birth they tell you to spray down there with water to keep from getting infections. I bought my own because I didn't like the one the hospital gave me:) hope this helps, and good luck!
I'm gonna be so uncomfortable with having to use pads after giving birth. I absolutely hate pads. I haven't used them since I was about 15. 😖
Cried over maxi pads!!!!
I had a panic attack and cried at Target on Sunday... While trying to by maxi pads for after I give birth!! I have never bought pads in my life and I started crying in the isle because I was so overwhelmed by all the options and so pissed that they didn't have an assorted pack like tampons!! Ugh! I still don't know if I bought the right kind!! :-(
After birth, do you suggest depends underwear or heavy duty pads? When I had my first the hospital provided me with some big pads & comfortable soft underwear but I want some for when we are back home & im debating which to go for this time, if I should try the depends or just get heavy duty pads.
How long
Have you been on bb/pink pad/kidfolio?
Those are nice when your bleeding slows and you want to wear normal clothes.
