I need help from mommies that have a boyfriend in the military or fiancé !!! I will be having my baby soon but my boyfriend is deployed and won't be there when the baby is born and I talk to the birth certificate department and they said my daughter can have his last name but his name won't be in her birth certificate because we are not married and we are concerned that he can't do his Dependent B.A.H because the baby birth certificate won't have his information only his last name .. Please I need help !

it shouldn't be hard his name is going to be on the B/C since even if you guys ain't married. If he's deployed who ever he left to take care of his things for example car payment or legal acts, should be there at the birth and Bring that will or a paper stating they can take action on his behalf. once you go to register the child on DEERS make sure take birth certificate and M/L . it's really easy.
Your boyfriend should still be able to get his name on there. He's in the military and has orders, it's not like he's MIA. They should be able to make an accommodation for you guys.

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls.
