so question... last Thursday I was a fingertip dilated and the midwife could feel babys head. she never told me I was effaced or anything she just said that. well today I'm so crampy which comes and goes along with tightening of my stomach the cramps are period cramp feeling but I can stand them. I just have to stop what I'm doing. I can't close my legs Cuz my hips hurt so bad an I feel like I'm squishing his head. it hurts to stand up straight. I'm so uncomfortable. I am always in an out of L&D n today I don't want to go I'm exhausted. I have a appointment on Thursday. anyone know or experience this. it's my third baby but he is a boy I have 2 girls an completely different this time arpund. my youngest I was dilated to 3 cm and all most all the way effaced at 3 pm went for dinner went back at 1100 pm and I was fully dilated I pushed for 3 mins an she was born.

I would go in just in case. But I'm in the same situation as you. Doctor told me I was 1/2 cm dilated and 80% effaced the other day, but I've been having horrible pelvic pain non stop
Question- I'm 37 weeks so I go weekly to the doctor now. I went last Thursday and was 3-4cm dilated and 50% effaced. My next appointment is supposed to be this Thursday but I want to go in today because I'm concerned I might be leaking & I feel like I'm more dilated. So how would I schedule that appointment? Just call and say that?
How do you know if you are dilated? Does your water have to break so you can be dilated? I'm 38 weeks and I still don't feel labor stuff lol
I'm so irritated right now😣 so my MIL is on my WIC and they were going grocery shopping and I asked her to hwt me stuff on the list for my 3 day diet before my GD test. well they come back and everything bought was for her daughter like serious. I was putting it away and she kept saying that's for my lunch so don't eat it now I feel like I'm gonna fail my test Thursday
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...
