So I'm in early labour! 😁 started losing my plug around midday yesterday and then contractions started at like 3pm. They died off overnight because I was just so tired, but came back in full force at 6am this morning. Had my routine check up at the hospital and they did a stretch and sweep because I've been contracting so they want things to move along nicely for me. I was about 2cm dilated at 10am. Since being home I've been having fairly frequent contractions that are just getting worse every time! Hopefully my baby girl just keeps pushing down to thin out my cervix so we can get this show on the road! 😍😍😁

@steph194, yeah I'm getting ready for bed now, I'm up a million times through the night anyways. Hopefully she doesn't make us wait too long!
i went through the same thing, lay down with a heat pack, a nice cold gatorade and try take a nap, youre on the final stretch now hun, she's almost here, rest up and keep hydrated x
@steph194, I'm okay. I got like overly excited and stressed and scared and adrenaline kicked in today and made all the pains and contractions just stop. And then I got frustrated and upset with myself. But my partner got home from work and he got me to calm down and just relax and let Bub and body do its thing and just reminded me that it'll all happen when it's supposed to. And then at about 5-5:30 contractions started again but they've still been about 10-15 apart but quite strong. So I'm just trying to relax and let them build up and become more consistent on their own, if they want to. It's a very emotional time this is haha
@steph194, thanks ☺️ I hope not! Contractions have come back nicely since about 6am. Kinda scarier today because my partner had to go to work so I'm home alone but I'm trying to stay calm and just plotting along to keep her moving! Haha

@donzbub, @steph194 came back to the hospital at 6:30 because contractions were like 5 minutes apart, and unbearable and my tummy was constantly tight between them. Of course as soon as we get here they calmed down 😒 but my cervix thinned down to under a cm and I was dilated to 3! But could still be a while before she decides to come out or unless she's as keen as I am for her to come out then she could be here soon! But who knows. Going home for a good night sleep after some forte and a sleeping tablet.
