They should be asking you about that soon. Usually around 37 to 38 weeks. @kambam speak to your doctor and then decide if you want to get it done or not.

@krystalee i still havent had the strep test or whatever though. wondering if i should go for that?

I just wouldn't want then irritating or getting bacteria in my vagina just because they wanted to check me for there own benefit if I'm fine. @kambam

Yeah Docs just want to check if your dilated but it's really not necessary unless your in labor. @kambam

Your welcome 😊 @heatherlg88 last I got a cervical check was at 28 weeks. They don't need to check u until your 36 or 37 unless there's an issue, etc. But it's your body and you have a right to say no if there's nothing wrong.

Are they going to start checking your cervix? Omg I'm nervouse I'm 34w3d and I have ob apt tomorrow 😕

it's not that bad. kinda like a pap except the OB uses his finger or fingers. lol it was very uncomfortable feeling just not as awful as I thought. idk why mine started checking so early. I was 30 weeks when he first checked my cervix, and I'm pretty sure he's checking tomorrow too at my 32 week appointment.
