you can feel the head around the cervix. that's how they can also tell how effaced you are.

My doctor always says well there's his head but doesn't seem like your cervix is doing much of anything...I go to the doctors tomorrow I really hope I'm dilated seeing how I'm 38 weeks preggo

I know! I have a feeling he is gonna be stubborn and I'm gonna end up having to get induced :/ and my doctor said they don't induced till your 41 weeks :(
