So we're doing a bottle for Lucas every other day or so to get him adjusted to transitioning between breast and bottle, which normally means someone besides me should feed him, right? ❌ wrong! He's only taken them from me! Has this happened to anyone else? My poor hubs is getting discouraged, and we're going to a concert in less than 2 weeks. Help!

You have to be out of the house. If he can smell you, he's not going to take it from anyone else

I wasn't anywhere near him either time (like, across the house), but he let me give him the bottle, which I thought was strange. Guess I'll go in the backyard next time? @babes101116

when i had my daughter she would only take the bottle from me took a few weeks for her to get used to drinking a bottle from my husband

@mommytoveralang, dang, but good to know! My oldest would only take a bottle from my mom or hubs when I was in another room for the first several times.

@mommagotbump16, my hubs would get all sad that she would only take a bottle from me. i would let him feed her and hold her all the time so she would get used to him holding her and i showed him how i woyld hold her and positions she liked and few weeks she was fine. shes 10 months now and coyld care less about us as long as shes gotta bottle in her hand she got her milk!!!! it takes time!
