I called my OB's office today asking if I was having an ultrasound at my appt this Thursday. She said they have none scheduled the remainder of my pregnancy unless they feel there is a need due to any issues. I get that it's a good thing we are healthy, but I last saw him at my 18 week anatomy scan & before that it was literelly every 2 weeks at the fertility specialist from 5 weeks until we graduated from there at 11 weeks. I have to see him again before birth! Anyone else told this?? I swear at my 15 week appt the nurse said I'd have one every other visit, which she says now is not true. 😕

I agree. Hopefully your doctor will give you one more:) I figured it would be necessary in order to see their positioning and get the approximate weight before delivery
i know! she did say i could try talking to my dr which of course i will, but im with u i wont pay out of pocket either... ugh the struggle! @schu35
@babyointhemaking, I know you can go to private places and pay for 3D ultrasounds. I don't want to pay out of pocket though lol. I know if your doctor gives you another one they should do a 3D one and you'll get pictures. Mine did at 24 weeks. I'm so amazed at some of the ultrasound pictures, they are so clear and you can see every detail of the little baby. Makes me jealous!
right! like ppl post their pics & u can clearly see their babies lips full grown lmao i have to see his lips in a few weeks!!! so when ppl get 3D u/s they must pay out of pocket huh? cuz they told me insurance doesnt cover more than what ive had done already.. @schu35
I want to see her one more time too. I really am curious to find out how much her estimated weight is especially because I'm afraid she's gonna be huge. My doctor hasn't said anything. I hope they change their minds for both of us

I got one at 7 weeks to check viability the anatomy scan at 20 weeks and am only getting one more to check babys weight and position later in pregnancy it the norm unless something is wrong with your baby or you are high risk
You might get one more around 36 weeks to check baby's size and position! It's pretty normal to not have any more after your anatomy scan though.
I saw my daughter at 12 weeks, and 20 weeks. They didn't get all the measurements and stuff at the 20 week ultrasound so I had another at 24 but was told I will be getting no more. I haven't seen her in about 12 weeks. I can't wait to have her here.

My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...

My apt yesterday went okay. Baby boy is healthy. He actually is measuring 36wks and 6days a head of me. He’s 5lbs 13oz. He’s a little chunky.
I do not have gestational diabetes or anything else to cause him to be so far a head of me. He’s just always been measuring two-three weeks a head.

little man can b here sooner then his due date friday, doc said she wouldn't b surprised if she don't see me for my last appt Thursday and won't b surprised if I have him early , hopefully she telling me something, still 1 cm though so hopefully he comes soon , been so uncomfortable she did say I was having early labor pains all in my back have them 1 in every 10 mins , be3n having pain sides and stomach pressure come on little man, 😍😍😚😚😚💙💚💛
