I tried to avoid it but my doctor is no fool, he knows I'm depressed. I have been for some time now. Has any other moms went through denial about depression? My doctor prescribed me Wellbutrin (Bupropion) and I'm afraid to take it, has anyone else taken this medication? Help me please. I'm so lost and confused on what to do/think about this situation.
I've gone through denial but it got so bad at one point that I couldn't deny it anymore. I've been on pretty much every medication for it and all of them have made it much worse for me. Everyone reacts differently to medications though, that's just my personal experience
I agree with @ngolphenee Zoloft was the best one I tried. Wellbutrin is the most widely prescribed I think but I've heard good things. Don't be ashamed to be medicated, and if you need any help just message me!
I have never denied my depression. it can be harder to get out of if you deny it. I have taken celexa and zoloft. highly prefer zoloft. it helped me feel normal. it didn't make me happy, it made me feel balanced brain wise. I highly suggest taking them for a while. in a month if you feel nothing reschedule an appointment. try starting a mood journal. take two or three times a day to write how youre feeling, possible triggers, etc. it will help to look back and see that you are having a lot more good days.
I've been in denial as well. Haven't gotten any medication though.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
the other day at my doctors visit I was told it's a possibility I may have cervical cancer....awaiting my next doctors visit Thursday is very depressing ...I'm not worried about me but so worried about my unborn son....praying for better days
I kind of suffered from postpartum depression after I had my first due to me being self conscious about my weight and not accepting my appearance. I made a promise to myself this time no matter what I'm going to eat better and exercise.
I swear y’all kill me when people ask questions about THEIR child. If my child is 4m or 5m & I put a little cereal in the bottle it’s nothing wrong with it at all. NOTHING , especially if his doctor already gave me the go ahead. My god, each one teach their own though.
it’s 10 am where I am rn , do not come on my post with , articles about whatever. I’ll tell you kiss my ass today.
why am i worried about if she's okay in there, my doctor has told me multiple times she's healthy
Any anti depressant though will take as long as 6-8 weeks to start taking a full effect though, so be patient when you start taking it
