I am super mad. I asked my in laws if we could do my baby shower in July. they agreed well now its moved to fucking September. on my husbands birthday weekend and labor day weekend. i am having twins and my due date is the 28th of October. when I told her "what if I have them before than" her response is that they will probably still be in the nicu and we will have time but if my babies are in the Nicu I how can I enjoy my baby shower. I didn't ask for anything besides an early shower and I'm pissed.

Yeah and I know she means well it just kisses me off because the pushed it so far back because his sisters have plans. and I hate to sound selfish but in my opinion this is more important than the mall..... my husband is bringing me Cafe Rio as an apology on behalf of his family so I'm feeling a bit better

So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
