Why have I not had any contractions or BH yet? Any moms go into labor without having any beforehand? I'm nervous this means induction and possible C-section..

@bianca_rose, we've done that too. Sex, pineapple, yoga ball, and I work on my feet all day.
If it's an option, I had sex Friday night at 10, contractions started 5 hrs later
turned out to be cramps from diarrhea from what my Dr said. not BH. & thank you 😊
@mommyrai, I thought you had BH a few weeks before labor? But I'm glad you and baby boy are healthy and happy!
I went into labor without any. but my C section was cause he was breech.
@madibug96, I will ask them about it.. And yes @bianca_rose my doctor won't induce until after 41 weeks, so still have a little over a week at least. I've been 1cm and about 70% thinned since 36 weeks with no change.
When I had my appt on wed I was only 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced, 3 days later I had her
When I would have them it wasn't my entire stomach. when you go to your doctor have them give you a bh. my midwife did it a couple times so I would know what it was. she just moved my stomach and was pressing on it to check baby and she gave me one
@madibug96, I didn't know that about BH, so maybe I have been having them? I really don't know lol. And I'm hoping that's my case @bianca_rose I know it's probably going to happen but I don't want to be induced.
I didn't feel any of my contractions until they started the pitocin at the hospital. bh can just be a part of your stomach too, they don't have to be the whole thing
No, I gave birth sat morning and on wed and thurs I had what felt like period cramps. Woke up at 2:45am sat to a contraction
@lawsonsmama, awesome thanks! I go in Thursday for my 40 week so maybe they will tell me I've been having them but not necessarily feeling them.
I didn't have any contractions and I was having BH but it felt exactly like the baby moving. it wasn't until I was at my checkup that the nurse felt my stomach and told me it was a BH. anyway, I didn't have any signs and then 4 days past my due date my water broke in the middle of the night.

Very few and far between, but it's normally just one side not the entire stomach like they describe BH/contractions @lawsonsmama

Vaginal labor is so easy I would rather take the contractions any day than to have to have a c section
