post natal rant alert coming up!

well I was induced last Tuesday because my bp was high and I was seeing flashing lights and had swelling in my legs. went home wed.

the community midwife has been monitoring my bp and on Sunday she came out, bp was ok, but I had a head ache and the flashing lights. Anyhow, she sent me up to the hospital to see a Dr and they wanted to keep me in for an mri scan the following morning. The convo went as follows with a neurology consultant;

Him; I want to keep you in so that we can carry out an mri scan to make sure there are no blood clots causing the headache

Me; nope

Him (long pause); why not?

Me; cos I don't want to

Him; silence

He arranged it so I could bring Riley back in with me so here I am, back in the same room as i was after I'd delivered.

Now I'm really peed off and keep having what feels like an emotional break down on this poor nurse cos I was told my scan would be this morning, and low and behold I'm still.sat here - and this is an emergency appointment! She then put another canular in and ended up wearing most of my blood....

I'm so fed up. I feel like the first few, what are supposed to be fun days with Riley and my other kids, has been taken away from me for a measly head ache which I told them is probably down to tiredness. To add to this the day after we got home my eldest had a stomach infection and had to go to her nans until it passed? then my youngest got sickness and trots on Sat...sun I was admitted, we've had no family time. Feel really low...
