Okay girls. I have a doctor appointment this Tuesday for a PP visit Ill be one day shy of 11 weeks PP when I have my visit. (long story short I didn't go to my six week pp because I went to the emergency room the night before and they said everything was good and I didn't wanna go thru the pain of the doctor checking the next day and then I had to switch OB's. Anyways my question is in currently on the pill jolivette and I want to switch to something more long term. I forgot to take my pill a total of 4 times since starting it 2 weeks PP and I hate how if I miss even one day (not on purpose) I bleed like an extremely heavy period. What birth control would you girls recommend? I'm terrified of needles so the depo is a no go. This is such a hard decision! I'm obviously going to talk to over with my doctor as well but would like some options and stories of birth control you have personally tried yourself.

I got the iud after having my son & loved it on my last year of having it I started having minor problems so I went to go get it out. Well it had moved luckily they were able to get it out. After that I went on the pill. & baby number 2 came lol. After baby 2 I decided to get the IUD again because I was having the same issue that you are. I hate needles, the pill obviously wasn't for me, I don't really believe in the patch & I had hear bad things about the implant so I felt the iud was basically my only choice. But everyone is different all of our bodies take things differently as well.
