How long after giving birth are you supposed to poop? I delivered Tuesday afternoon & still haven't done it . I just haven't felt the urge to? Should I do it anyways ?

i remember that feeling it sucks.. pain horrible to finally got to pee and poop. i had a c section
Yeah I've been taking the stool softeners they gave me but still nothing 😩 @jacesterlingsmommy
Did the hospital give you a stool softener? I didn't go until I got home from the hospital about 4 days afterwards but if they didn't give you one I'd recommend getting one. It helped me. It really wasn't bad to poop after birth. I was terrified. lol

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Girl get you a a gallon of prune juice at the grocery store! The colace they gave me didn't do anything either. I've been drinking prune juice and it helps. You won't have a normal poop right off the bat but you will poop. Some is better then none! Try not to keep putting it off.. you can get seriously backed up and you'll be in some pain trying to poop it out later. @steppphh
