Any tips to produce more breastmilk?
I have been trying to stay hydrated, pumping every 3 hours, out meal, milk & I can only get max close to 2 ounce every pump 😭
Breastfeeding moms: so I am planning on going on a 3 day vacation with my hubby & a bunch of friends to Catalina in May, (my baby won't be going with us) and I do not wanna be pumping and dumping every 2 hours out there.. so if I don't pump or breastfeed for 3-4 days, will my milk supply drop significantly? 😩😩 & I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the engorgement pain if I can't find time to pump out there.
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
I now have a baby that won't drink from a bottle.....for now at least, 3 Walmart bags full of milk and I honestly wouldn't pump if I didn't have to. I wish I knew a mother in need near me, I remember the overwhelming stress of every drop.
How do I produce more milk? I used to pump 5oz...now I’m pumping barely 3oz within two days and getting less. I’m pumping every two hours.

if your breastfeeding and pumping thats the normal amount. I spoke to a lactation consultant and she told me to expect 1-2 oz each session when exclusively breastfeeding

Try not to pump as much they say not to let the amount you get through a pump determine how much you produce. I could hardly ever pump but I successfully BF for a long time.

I've been doing a dark beer a night and it has made a difference! You're allowed to have up to two beers while breastfeeding. I only do one though. I use Guinness extra stout. The taste isn't very appealing, but it's worth it to me! I've also been told lactation cookies work wonders! I'll add the recipe a friend of mine used! She did the cookies and beer and it worked amazing 🙂
