Ok so I had emergency C section done this past Tuesday and got discharged frm the hospital friday.. My doctor told me to remove my own staples in the shower .. At the time I was to tired to ask any Q but come to think of it now is this normal? How can I remove my own staples? Has anyone removed their own staples?

@iamliyaah, please call. that is crazy I had strips I was told they would come off on there own in the shower. That is crazy

no no no no. I had my c-section on the 8th, they removed my staples before discharge on the 11th and put steri-strips over the incision... those will come off on their own. I wouldn't chance removing staples... that could cause a tear or worse! ouch it hurts just to think about it!
