If your past 39 weeks typically 4-5 but I'm 5cm and almost 39 and since I'm not having consistent contractions they won't keep me because im not progressing and they won't induce me yet. It's silly but makes sense because you can be at a 4-5 for weeks if your not having consistent contractions.
@emaleejoy, @arijane316 @ryleighsmom651 my contractions are a constant 5-7 minutes. But I'm stuck at a 1 1/2. But I'm currently doing the 'pad test' cuz I sprung a leak this morning. 😩 I could just be paranoid.
I was 40 weeks with contractions every 2 minutes but I would progress past a 1 so they didn't keep me until I had a seizure:/ after having contractions like that for 9 hours
i went to the hospital on monday i was 1.8 cm dilated and 80% effaced and they sent me home and then i had a doctors appointment on Wednesday i got checked me again i was only at 2 cm dilated so the doctor just dismissed my complains about cramping and the next day i went into labor at 5-6 am and contractions got worse and worse closer and closer i got to the hospital at almost 10pm and I was already at 7 cm dilated

depends on your contractions also. if they're 3-5 minutes apart but you're only 2-3 cm dilated, they'll keep you

If they keep getting closer and stronger and the hospital see's it's changing your cervix they'll probably keep you
