I know it sounds silly but everytime I look in my baby book where you fill in things about all your trimesters, birth visitors, all the way to there first birthday. It hurts a little to know the 3 pages on 'baby shower' will be blank due to the fact I don't have any close family, good friends or siblings to throw one for me let alone enough reliable friends to throw one myself 😞

I didnt have one as my mum said it isnt right to do it as you are asking people to come and bring presents...which is silly...because they dont have to bring any if they dont want to lol..... I just wanted a small gathering with friends and family...not expecting them to bring presents etc. In the end I didnt have one as Im not really in touch with my friends...I didnt feel any loss though...when my daughter was born...People brought gifts over and my mum got pissy if they didnt (which defies the point she was making about the baby shower) but hun...you shouldnt be sad about it xx Ive never been one for celebrations though xx
im not having one. didnt have one with son either. to be honest i dont like anything like that and been centre of attention so more than happy with it been missed out But im in same boat. dont have no family or close friends to sort me one @jasmineg2010 xx
Don't worry neither of my SILS who I'm close to have bothered doing me one either I'm not really fussed tho don't like being centre of attention lol x
I have never had a baby shower either and no one is that interested in that for me either.
It's like my book I'm doing for my girl got tons of bits to fill in about her dad and for her dad to fill in like there's a page where he can write a letter to her before and after she's born but he doesn't want anything to do with her so it's so hard xx
im the same hun... all through my pregnancy my mom and sister said they was doing me one... so i never bothered to organise one... im now 36+2 and being started off soon and not had one.. so i wont be able to fill pages out either xxx
im in the same situation. very few friends and no family i can rely on, doesn't bother me most of the time but sometimes it would be nice 😔
I never had one either, my mum put one together for my sister with my nephew and she's doing one for here with this one too but never done one for me, made me feel so shit :/ x
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
