I just posted this on Facebook because I'm fed up of double standards

Do you know what's winds me up? Double standards for men and women how can a father go out and celebrate the birth of his child and that be normal but a mother goes out after 9 months of pregnancy, labour, breastfeeding and whatever else and she is disgusting how dare she leave the house and put on a dress! This isn't 1950 I'm not a housewife I'm a mum and a bloody good one at that but I'm also a person and why the hell should I not be able to enjoy myself as much as man? If my child is being looked after by his dad and I haven't left him in the house home alone to go on a 3 night bender I don't see the issue? I shouldn't have to cover my body up because it offends anyone now I have a child in fact I'm more proud of my body now post baby than I was pre baby so a massive fuck you if your one of these who made a comment to yourself or someone that 'oh it's to early she shouldn't be out' 'why is she wearing that now she's a mum' then I suggest you take your opinion and shove up your arse!
