My poor baby boy can't wear onsies or be swaddled in this house. He was fussy & his onsie was wet & I thought he peed out of it. Then I put another on him & the minute I zipped it up it was SOAKED back & front & I had just put his new diaper on. His daddy said all his other onsies were dry & he had dry hands. He then got bug eyed & said take him out of it now he did the same in the crib when you swaddled him he soaked the blankets & crib sheet with sweat. I have to bring this up to his Dr cause now my baby is cooling off in front of the fan in his diaper & he is sweaty & he is only 6 days old.

@mommyrai, that is how my son was and still is... he would have a outline of his body drenched in sweat ... he still does... i would ask your dr but dont stress too much momma

it just worried me how much he was sweating & since overheating especially at him being so new to the world could cause SIDS I would want to know how to prevent it. I would lose my mind if something happened to him 😢😢 @b3autifulm3ss

my daughter was the same way and she still can be like this but not as bad. I left her naked all the time and we had ALOT of skin to skin time so I could keep her warm enough and we slept all the time. its just because the poor little guys body is having trouble regulating its own temp. try what I did don't worry about clothes he will either shiver or cry if he's not warm enough. also check his tempeture 3 times a day until you see it regulating itself.

skin to skin is the best even for older kids or even your partner , its especially important during that first month because your body is still synced with baby's body so your body can actually help him regulate his temp.
