I'm going to keep it 100. I am so sick of seeing this same lame ass post! It's a blessing to be a mom at any age! Some people should chill on the hating! We all blessed to be here at this stage in life! Goodness! 😒
Side note: I ain't mad...I'll be changing a newborn at 37, not 35 and damn proud of it! #firstbabydamnright
I've done it at 19 and gonna be 34 with this one 😬 I'm damn proud that I'm still fertile lol and that though ppl might think I'm old, I'm also financially stable and have a 14 year old whose looking forward to helping with his little brother. Best of both worlds 😊 I say if you will love and provide for your child than no age is too young or old to have one 😉
I was changing nappies at 20 with my first, at 25 with my second and I'll be changing them again at 34 with this one....this meme does not apply to me 😁😁
@rainbow0601 Oh yeah. I think these memes are silly. Honstly us moms need each others support, not each others hate.
Seriously! It makes me annoyed but laugh at the same time when I see posts like that ha. But I know so many young moms who are amazing. I know many older moms who are amazing. There are certainly the ones who fall through the cracks too, and those are usually the loud ones 😁 who like to create memes 😂 @soon_2_be_mom_of_4
@rainbow0601 I know. I read after I got hot headed and commented, and I apologize. You're right, the young moms who usually post it, are the guilty ones. Sorry for not.reading before I posted. I never really saw young shaming as a threat. I usually look past, but I just loved the way this woman worded her statement.
@soon_2_be_mom_of_4, 😉 clearly you are letting us know you're doing a great job. And if you took the time to read my comments were not aimed at young mothers like yourself! You're doing a lovely job. Have a great day
Exactly what I wad trying to say lol you just said it much better @soon_2_be_mom_of_4
I think was refering the first comment, and I disagree with her. I am on my fourth at 26, and I have served my country beside my huaband. That is the man who is the father of all four of these kids. Also I will not be clubbing in my 30's, and I didn't care for clubbing in my 20's.
I do agree with you, being a mom is a blessing. No matter what our age is, and who cares how old someone is going to be changing diapers. They have to be changed, and no matter how old someone is. LOL
This is a dumb meme I agree. But I can also say I can scroll and see older women who are immature as shit. Its a person to person basis.
You're so right! Age doesn't mean you're more stable by any means, unfortunately. Just think it's funny the gals who post memes like the one above are the ones I happen to see, living in less than ideal conditions but making fun of those who choose to wait 👀 @lilkountryma no bashing needed when you scroll through posts and can see it first hand.
@lilkountryma, No one is putting down anyone. Stating what I have opted to do in my life is not putting down anyone. If you are reading that in what I said, I can't help that. We are all lucky to be moms, period.
We are all moms and the bashing needs to stop. Just because you're older doesn't mean you are more financially stable or a better mom and just because you're young damn sure doesn't mean you're living off the state!! That was an ignorant thing to say. Being a good mother is not determined by age, marital status or where you work. Why don't we worry about our own kids and not other moms for gods sake?
YES girl, yess @kenitra 🙌🏼 ... And so does this mean we won't see you posting about how much your baby daddy hates you and doesn't pay the bills, etc etc 😂
@rainbow0601, 😹😹😹 @nevahsatisfied I am having my first child at 35 by CHOICE. I got pregnant in 3 weeks after getting off the pill. I might be older but we can afford a wonderful home in the best school district, domestic help, amazing vacations, and anything else we need. More importantly, I carefully selected the man who will be the father to my children! It's my worst nightmare to have a child with the wrong person and be stuck with them forever in some way, shape or form 😂
@rainbow0601, I absolutely can afford my child...I waited until I was married and I own 2 business. I had different priorities before having children.Nothing wrong with that. To each their own. I'm just so sick of the negativity. We are all so lucky to be moms... regardless of our age! ☺
Well I'm talking about a different post but like weren't you sleeping in while they were all making bottles? What's the difference? Lol
This is aimed towards people who shame young moms. Not just anybody. A lot of people say even being in your twenties and having babies is too young and this is aimed for the older people who make snide remarks.
When I see this post I think.... The 35 year olds that are having kids were out doing all this stuff in their 20's when it was socially acceptable... Lol. And now the girls who had kids young will be out at the clubs in their 30's surrounded by 20 year olds who are wondering what they're doing there. That's my take on it~ I hate seeing bashing either way really
I had a similar experience today, and usually I'd be ok with that earlier diff post, but when it touches your life HELL NO it's not funny. Crazy cuz before pregnancy id prob joke it off... Ummm no. Now things are different, and to shame others makes the shamed a blind fools ass. What if the lady had her first miracle baby only at 35? Yeah, digest that. So right on . Bdw she took her post off. 😜
I know that's right I'm 29 I'll be 30 in November with a newborn baby
