Anyone have experience with the copper IUD Paragard? I guess I'm considering it because of the lack of hormones, but I want to hear personal experience of whether you liked it or not.

I have it & im thinking of getting it taken out . I'm breastfeeding but I still have a period . Cramps are worse than ever before and I sometimes have cramps weeks after my period is over. Everyone's experience is different though so don't let me scare you lol. Just wanted to tell how it's been for me
i have it. i LOVE it. no side effects. the insertion is a little uncomfortable, but they tell you to take ibuprofen before. i bled lightly for a day, no cramps or discomfort. but i am breastfeeding so i haven't had a period and i'm not sure what that's going to be like yet. i've heard it can be excruciating or it can be very easy going when it comes to menstrual cramps.
