Anyone drinking or taking raspberry leaf tea/tablets?

I took the tablets when I was pregnant xx

Not really but more down to babys position not being great then anything else. I started them between 33/34 weeks. I was in labour for 56 hours, had an emergency forceps delivery which resulted in an episiotomy and 2nd degree tear. Labour wasnt as bad as I thought it would be, but not sure of that's down to my pain threshold. They work for some people and not for others I guess. Xx

I have never taken this in any of my 2 other pregnancies, what are they ment to do? xx @stacey804 @ceecee190

@kirsty89, it supposed to help during labour. Help soften the cervix and make labour quicker and easier. Well apparently haha xx

think they work for some not for others! worth a shot xx

I read that the tea was to help the stomach muscles get stronger so that when you go into labour ur contractions work better at pushing the baby out so ur less worn out and potentially spend less time in the pushing stage 🤔 x

Which is why you may find that you start to have braxton hicks after drinking it X
