I feel like my boyfriend is jealous of the baby. Anybody else ever go through this?

Sometimes men get jealous of the baby because all the woman's attention goes to the baby and they get kicked to the side and don't get all of your attention anymore... you might not mean to but it happens. My hubby told me after a year he felt like he got kicked to the side when our son was first born and he knew I didn't mean to though. Just try to include him more or when baby is asleep focus on him

@skyy12221, we work together so we see each other all the time and at night he is down watching movies with our roommates so he kinda chooses that he can always come in our room. So I don't understand why he is acting like this

@meme2393, darn I wish I had an answer. that really doesn't make sense I know sometimes with men's first they can distance themselves from mom and baby on purpose but act jealous but it's his 3rd. Have you tried talking to him about it?

@skyy12221, no I just thought of it last night when he was drunk he said something that just had me thinking. I don't know how to bring it up to him

@meme2393, Just say something like can I talk to you about something he'll say something like sure then you ask so do you feel like you don't get enough of my attention now that the baby's here or feel left out? Just have a conversation with him and try not to argue if he tries to argue calmly tell him I'm not trying to argue. Let him know how you feel and let him know you want him to spend more time with you and baby. You can come up with your own approach if you want.
