meaning u can tell them you want a fair chance to go through labor and deliver vaginally... if it's simply because you're overweight then that's not fair to you.. is your body, your baby.. as long as the baby isn't stressed u have that right
exactly I can't control my weight. I haven't been diagnosed with anything yet.
she won't induce me until 40 weeks. she's the type that wants you to go 0 to 41 weeks
yep. sometimes u can't control the weight like they want. I would discuss other options with ur doctor and be firm about what u want and prefer
@haydensmom1994 that's my point though. sometimes it just happens. I mean it is a lot more weight than they want but it doesn't mean a c section will have to be done. I was 190 pre pregnancy and it is possible for vaginal birth unless I am diagnosed with pre-eclampsia again and baby is breech. i had a c section with my first.

oh really? that's weird for her to not give u an option about it. I started at 254 and I'm at 268. and as long as I no longer have placenta previa at my next ultrasound I will deliver vaginally
plus my baby is measuring 38 weeks also I figured it might be his weight but I don't know.
in my past pregnancies I gained way to much weight and they said I may need a c. but I ended up being induced where they could monitor every part of labor. how much did u gain and if u r swelling have they made sure u r not preeclampsia or something like that
she didn't give me that option @kellynicole
I was over weight when I first got pregnant I was 215 and now I think I'm around 270 I think. even if I don't really eat I still gain weight. @ssdj4
she didn't check me for dilation today.
How much weight were you supposed to gain? Not everyone can follow what they say especially if they are overweight to begin with. I am only supposed to gain 10 but I've gained between 4 and 7 already and it fluctuates. Don't let her pressure you into a c section. Unless the baby is in distress or your body isn't doing what it should, a vaginal birth should be allowed. My mom gained almost 100 lbs granted she was only 73 lbs at the beginning but she was able to deliver vaginally.
I got to go back for another ultrasound Tuesday to check his weight.
I just got back from the doctors and they said that I've gained to much weight and it's possible for a c-section. I don't want one. I want a vaginal birth. she put me a on monitor because I told her I really didn't really my son move yesterday and she freaked out. I'm just ready to have my son so I can stop having problems with my body. I feel so awful about my weight. on top of that I've been having major swelling.
true and I will ask about it Tuesday.
