My baby had something similar to that it was a rash that ended up getting infected when she ate the milk that spilt down her check was feeding the rash so they prescribed her and ointment that cleared it up REALLY FAST , I can't remember what the doctor said it was because it was a while back but nothing was helping it just kept getting worse

with him being so young I would just take him to ER may be an allergic reaction

@rylees_mommy thats what his started off as. if i put lotion or anything on it, it turns red and gets worse.

It'd take him to his pedi NOT the ER. The ER is full of germs he'll get sick that way.

@trayt15, my baby's did the same take him to the doctor they can give you some ointment for it

Try to leave it dry until then moisture feeds it
