Mum ended up taking me which to the hospital for my appointment thank god because I couldn't walk after!! didn't have a scan -_- I was meant to! Baby measuring fine tho, wasn't my waters leaking but may have a possible urine infection causing discharge, nothing to worry about, she felt my belly and thought she felt the head in my pelvis then did an internal examination and realised its the shoulders she could feel, she also gave me a sweep, When she did the sweep she said she could tell that her head was very low down but...the neck of the womb/cervix (can't remember what she said) is open and soft but the mouth of it isn't :/ but all is heading in the right direction and OMG! How uncomfortable is a sweep :O and got an induction booked for 28th July if she's not here by then!

How come they gave you a sweep before your due date?! I couldn't have one until I went a day over 🙈

The consultant said that because I'm 39+1 and everything was ok she was happy to give me a sweep while I was there, no particular reason I don't think she just said because everything seemed fine and I'm full term/6 days from due date is was happy to do it @abbylouise

awwww amazing!!!!! I keep checking for news.... get a shifty on... ha ha get some pineapple... stick it in a bender or something. . I swear the pineapple started me... 2 days in a row I ate it xx

@briony1994, that's so lucky I asked my Midwide at 39 weeks and she refused! And they're only letting you go a week over before induction they're letting me go the full 2 week 😩 good luck hope it kickstarts something x

I think I'm just resting today @donzi.harri I can barely get up and down/walk and I'm completely shattered but will get back on trying to make her move tomorrow :) @abbylouise they are only letting me go a week over due to my BMI and blood pressure which I'm kind of glad they are only letting me go a week over! Fingers crossed your little one gets a wriggle on soon xxx

In all fairness I now don't mind when she comes, because I have an induction date I now know she will be here by so and so, it's put me at ease @donzi.harri xxx

wow everything is going in the right direction then!! I'm glad you've got an induction date....knowing that may relax you a little more and then that could bring on labour anyway! Feet up for today and rest, see if that sweep does anything!! xxxx

Yeah knowing am induction date has put me at ease, I've now decided to count down to that as its only 13 days and if anything happens before then it will be a surprise :) I'm currently laying in bed watching tv as I am sooooo tired!! @jetrum xx
