breastfeeding is STRESSFUL!! Took Aubriyella to her newborn visit and she lost more weight on top of what she already lost π turns out i/ME had a bad latch so during our visit we talked to a lactation consultant. I'm so glad I did cause I was doing somethings wrong. Hopefully now that these tricks are learned my baby will start getting her milk. I'm still gonna supplement her with formula but while she is getting the formula she'll still be attached to the breast! So I thought that was cool. That way there'll be NO nipple confusion. This little girl has NOT been like my to older ones she's a total diva. I honestly wouldn't trade her for the world all the aches pains and tears were worth it.
Yes always see a Lac consultant it could really be a minor fix!! I thought I knew it all since I BF my first son to 22 mo but once I had my 2nd son it was so painful the first week I didn't know why. Turns out the hold was all it was. The way you hold the baby makes an impact on the way their mouth opens! Literally by the end of the day no more pain!!!
