What was your experience of a C section??? Have to have one this pregnancy. My other 2 were vaginal, so this is new.. Not going for 12 more weeks but just sitting here thinking about what to expect and how different this is going to be.
I was in labor for 21 hours before they noticed I had an extra bone in my pelvis before they took my son via c section. The spinal is what freaked me out bc I felt like I couldn't breath.. But I was up walking 12 hrs later which I was sore for the first week an a half. I'm almost 3 weeks pp an I feel great
My c section went great! My daughter was breech and I had to. It's a scary feeling because your being cut open but honestly it goes so quick and the doctors talked to me and my loving husband was right by my head the whole time talking to me while they were working on me to get my mind off of it and it seemed like no time and my baby was out and I was just so amazed with her and seeing her for the first time that I forgot I was even in surgery. it's not that bad . I won't lie though, healing wasn't that great. Hurt really bad but you'll get meds for it. Over all I'm glad I had a c section. Oh and you go numb REALLU QUICK too after the spinal block!
Mine was an emergency c section so it was definitely scary and kind of quick. My whole pregnancy I never even planned for a c section so I was kind of in shock. The recovery period is rough, but as long as you're as active with walking as your body allows you should feel so much better in about 2 weeks!
