@1130love, I had a lot of vacation, personal and sick time accumulated. That I was able to stay home and still get paid in addition to my 8 weeks maternity. Had a caesarean. Could have stayed out longer but after 6 months my health insurance would have been deactivated until I resume work.

@nurseriri, how did u get all the time off if u don't mind me asking ?

I went into labor 3 weeks early though. Lol I was only going to work until 39 weeks

@1130love, I worked till 39 weeks. Had my son at 41 weeks and was home 51/2 months. Good luck

I also worked up to the day I went into labor. I didn't want to sit at home bored. Plus my mom was in town so she did all that nesting and such.

@keepingupwithestella, really? lol oh no I won't to take off weeks b4 to get stuff ready n rest. but I don't want that to affect the time I have after having my baby
