Okay mama's, I want your stories! Has anyone had or dealt with viral conjunctivitis (pink eye)?
If so, what were your symptoms on day one?
What day was the worst day (on average day 4 is the worst)?
What day did it begin to improve?
How long did it last altogether?
How long did it take for the redness of the eye to clear up?
And finally, did it turn into a cold/drain into the sinuses?
I am researching to write an article about viral conjunctivitis and would really appreciate some first or second-hand experiences, thanks in advance!

i had pink eye when i was 17 because my little brother (he was 15 at this time) he had punomia and he got so sick he had to go to the hospital because he was wheezing and couldnt breathe. well after he was sent home after improvement, he coughed all over my pilloes because he had a virus and i ended up getting it. it started with burning itchy redness and watery eyes and i would constantly be rubbing my eyes because they felt really irritated. i was at school and i went to the nurses office because i didnt feel very well and i started getting a cough. my nurse told me i had pink eye so i was sent home and when i got out i went to the clinic and they approved that i did had pink eye. it got really bad and pink eye is very contagious so i had to stay in my room and wasnt allowed to be out anywhere else and it took about 3 weeks to get better along with the antibiotics that they given me i hope this helps a bit :)
@hellosweetie, I pink eye for the first and only time when I was 26. I don't how. The first day was the worst my eyes inched and the sun caused them to burn. when I picked up the drops from the pharmacy I purchased a eye patch so I wouldn't be tempted to rub my eyes but because my eyes were runny I still ended up getting pink eye in the other eye. I think it lasted for for about 3 or 4 days
