I am a mom who has had 3 c-sections about to be 4. Not everyone will have an amazing experience after all it is major surgery. I don't have a vaginal experience to compare it to but all of my recoveries have been easy, no need for pain meds and I was able to tend to my self and baby with no problems at all.
I hate seeing post from others telling mom's to be that it is the worse thing they can do especially if they are having a c-section because it's necessary. There are women who have elective c-sections who would disagree.
Some women will and do have bad experiences, but not all and it's not fair to scare other moms because of a bad experience.
If a mom asks I always say I had a good experience but everyone is different and if I had a bad experience I would say the same.
@santistevanmommie, wow just the timing sounds rough
Same. The first few days were tough, but I recovered quickly. I was up and moving like normal a week later and I healed very well. I had to have an emergency c section because my bp was increasing and her heart rate was decreasing. I was afraid and literally cried in my nurse's arms, but because I had a wonderful support team, it made it a bit easier!
@santistevanmommie, I'm sorry to hear it was bad, how long did it take for your full recovery
I don't usually tell about my recovery unless I'm asked because I feel like it'll scare a mom. Lol it was pretty scary and shitty
@santistevanmommie, exactly. I know everything isn't easy but sharing both sides can put a mom at ease instead of her being scared.
I had a bad recovery from my c section but I always tell moms that everyone different. I know plenty of people who have had c section and not had a problem. They're scary at first but sometimes necessary
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
??????October 2018 babies??????
Congratulations to everyone who have received their bfp!

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Yeah, unfortunately I got an infection on the inside of the incision. So it was pretty much completely healed and my OBGYN had to cut it back open to drain it. I had a wound vac on it for about a month then had to pack it after that until it was completely healed again
